Shinepukur Ceramics receives 'Superbrands' award

Shinepukur Ceramics Ltd ( SCL ) -country's leading ceramic-tableware manufacturer and largest ceramic-tableware exporter receives 'Superbrands' award in its respective category. Shinepukur Ceramics is the first and only ceramic-tableware manufacturer of the country to win such recognition from Superbrands. Mr. Rizvi Ul Kabir, Chief Operating Officer ( COO ) of Shinepukur Ceramics Ltd. received this 'Superbrand' award in an exclusive award giving ceremony of the Superbrand Tribute Event which was held at the Winter Garden, Dhaka Sheraton Hotel on Tuesday, 9 November 2010 . On behalf of SCL , few other high officials of the company were also present in this Superbrand Tribute Event. On this occasion, Mr. Rizvi Ul Kabir, Chief Operating Officer said,'SCL considers Superbrands award as an extraordinary recognition and milestone achievement for the company.' He also mentioned that Shinepukur Ceramics Ltd. contributes more than 60% of the total national export of the ceramic tableware sector of the country. SCL is the only ceramic tableware manufacturer of the country to receive National Export Trophy (Gold) -the highest national accolade for record three (3) times from the Govt. of Bangladesh for highest export made during the period. The COO of SCL also said that 'since its inception, Shinepukur Ceramics has always been a very successful brand both home and abroad. Today, Shinepukur exports its world class ceramic products to more than 35 countries including USA , Canada , UK , Germany , France , Italy , Spain , Sweden , Norway , Turkey , Australia , UAE, Egypt , Argentina , Brazil , Chile , India etc. To meet its ever growing demand, SCL is continuously making investments in improving its quality and in expanding its production capacity.'
